Question 1 Are there guarantees of origin applicable in your country? If yes, which organisation is responsible for issuing guarantees of origin for hydrogen depending on energy source? What are the rules for the use of these guarantees of origin? Please describe.

GoOs are applicable in Spain. However, they only applied to electricity production from renewable resources. GoOs are not applicable for the production of Hydrogen.

National legislation:

Order ITC/1522/2007, of 24 of May, by which establishes the regulation of the guarantee of origin of the electricity from renewable sources of energy and of cogeneration of high efficiency
Stablish the GoOs and also the organism which is responsible of their control.
